So you might ask, what made me decide to start this blog....actually it was with the encouragement of my husband. We are driving back to the apartment after our work out and he goes, "I have an idea!" I was thinking that you should start a blog with pictures and updates to your fitness journey. Talk about your struggles, your temptations, your successes and even your failures. Maybe something about having it publicly shared will help motivate you and may even help others as well :)
Well here we are! I'm going to do it! It struck a chord in me because I had been thinking about doing it for a while...almost like an online virtual accountability tool to help me out! Plus, it will make me more aware of what I do and don't do, eat and don't eat....because I'll have to share it with the world!
With that being said, these are the things I plan on blogging about:

-Anything else that comes to mind :)
Well, its off we go now! The Journey to a Healthier me has now begun! :)

My Bachelorette Party...July 9, 2012...Best in shape thus far at 165.1lbs.
Where I am now...backsliding just a little bit...back up to 182.2lbs

ReplyDeleteHere I go again I thought I saved my post but apparently the computer outsmarted me again. I want Matthew & you to know that you have been my inspiration & role model on getting healthy!!!! I have been trying to put exercise into my every day life. I have lost 20lbs since November but have around another 85lbs to go. I have been saying to my hubby I just don't have enough time in the day to exercise (cardio). I am so glad you started your blog, it got me too thinking I could get up earlier in the morning and do my workout. I have been putting it off too long. So I made committment Monday night to start my morning workout. (big step for me I am NOT a morning person). I did get some recipes off of facebook that you posted and excited to try the banana ice cream. I struggle every day but was able to get through the day in making the right choices, thanks for getting my mind back on track. No more excuses for me, I love what your Daddy said, "Reach High and Dream Deep." We Can & Will Do it!!!!! Luv ya guys, YOU GO GIRL!
